I am a senior software engineer and tech lead at Google, ex-Dropbox. I like to say I was a full stack engineer before the term was invented, so you can guess how long I’ve been in the business?

I am also a bit of an agent of chaos, never accepting the status quo, and I feel strongly about things (though I am capable of not acting on issues with low ROI). This is why I feel “see something, say something” summarizes my personality (almost) to a tee.

I believe communication is key to the software engineering profession. Without it, we could all be replaced by AI in a second (so I’m not worried about that happening any time soon).

Building cross-team and cross-functional alignment is my “super power”, and my art is discovering the essence of what needs to be done and eliminating non-essential features or requirements and even entire projects in order to deliver value to customers with minimal engineering time & effort.

I am passionate about promoting diversity in tech through mentoring URMs and providing ad-hoc guidance to whoever needs it.
